Take the dark out of Queens park

Juanuary 11th at 6PM Take the dark out of Queens Park coined by Tony Antonios.  The residents of Queens Park want to gather to support their fellow citizens taking back the park from thugs.
This is not a political event nor a critism of any department of the City of New Westminster.
It is a way of showing criminals that we won't be intimidated.
All parks in New Westminster should be safe to walk through at anytime but definitely before 11PM.
I am disappointed that anyone would think or tweet that this is a political event as it shows their stupidity and small mindedness.  We do not want people to be afaird to enjoy their parks, their city and use both to the fullest extent.

Morneau still out

Justin Morneau who suffered a concussion on July 7th still is not healthy enough to play. Justin while working out has not had a full day when he did not suffer some symptons from the concussion.  Minnesota is thinking of having Morneau slow down on his workouts to see if that helps the healing.
