The New Westminster Frasers had to played against such future stars as Jeffery Leonard of the Bellingham Dodgers.
1973 saw Leonard signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Dodgers and being assisgned to Bellingham in 1974.
Leonard was seventh in the Northwest league in batting for 1974.
Jeffrey went on to play 14 season in the Major Leagues with 5 teams.
