The New Westminster Frasers were the brainchild of GM Dean Taylor and Assistant GM Mike Manning who both were working on their Masters in Sports Administration at Ohio University. Taylor was fortunate that his father-in-law William Forrest of Roseburg, Oregon was supportive.
Although New Westminster only lasted one year in the Northwest League this management team moved to Boise to form the Boise A's in 1975-76.
I have been unable to locate Mike Manning last believed to be in Las Vegas. William Forrest passed away in 1993. Dean Taylor is the Assistant General Manager/ Vice-President Baseball Operations for the Kansas City Royals.
