The Eastern Division winners the Eugene Emeralds were managed by Hugh Luby.
Luby who had two cups of coffee in the Majors had a long playing career in the PCL. He is a member of the PCL Hall of Fame.
Hugh had been NWL President served as Manager and General Manager for teams in the NWL.
